As we head into autumn, we’ve been busy giving Beaulieu Community Centre a fresh new look, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our volunteers. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, the halls and office have all been freshly painted, creating a brighter, more welcoming space for everyone who visits the centre. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Intact Insurance and everyone else who generously gave their time to help with the refresh. We hope you’ll enjoy the improvements next time you visit.

Our monthly Stitch and Share sessions continue to be a wonderful way to bring our community together. Held on the first Sunday of every month from 1:30pm to 3:30pm in the Channels Hall, these free sessions are open to anyone aged 12 and over who enjoys knitting or crochet, or would like to learn. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced crafter, you’ll receive a warm welcome. Simply bring along your own wool and needles and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, conversation and a cup of tea. To find out more, please email enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk.

Did you know our halls are available to hire? Whether you’re planning a birthday party, business meeting, fitness class, community event or special celebration, Beaulieu Community Centre has a space to suit your needs. Our four versatile halls, The Chase Hall, The Heath, The Channels and The Keep, offer flexible, modern spaces that can be adapted for a wide range of activities. From our largest hall, The Chase, which accommodates up to 100 people, to our smaller meeting rooms, there’s a space for every occasion. The Channels comfortably hosts up to 35 to 40 people and is ideal for smaller parties and gatherings, while The Heath (up to 25 people) and The Keep (up to 20 people) are perfect for meetings, training sessions, workshops, tutoring or small classes. If you’re looking for the perfect venue for your next event, we’d love to hear from you.

The Trust that manages the centre would also like to say a huge thank you to Chelmsford Garden Community Council.  Through their support of a grant received, we have been able to replace all the carpets in the centre as well as the blinds in the halls.  The new air conditioning unit in the office was very much welcomed by all the staff at the centre over these hot few months.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Beaulieu Community Centre. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our activities, seeing you at Stitch and Share, or helping you host your next event in one of our refreshed community spaces.

Warm regards,
