There’s something truly magical about this time of year at the Beaulieu Community Centre. The halls are alive with parties, performances, celebrations and festive get-togethers — a wonderful reminder of the joy and connection our community shares.
The Mini Market Beaulieu, run by Ruth Pierce was once again a tremendous success. The variety and quality of this year’s vendors were outstanding, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Rotary Mildmay for running the much-loved Santa’s Grotto. Seeing the delight and excitement on the children’s faces is one of the highlights of our festive season.
As always, the centre will be closing over the holidays to allow our dedicated team a well-deserved break with their families and friends. We will close on 24th December and reopen on 3rd January, refreshed and ready to launch a packed programme of activities, events and informative talks.
Our coffee mornings have grown into a wonderfully popular community staple and will continue into the new year. We are delighted to welcome The Wilderness Foundation on 13th January, followed by Andy’s Man Club on 26th January. Tickets are available on our Eventbrite page (search CGC Trust events) — do book early as spaces are limited.
To help ease everyone gently out of the festive whirlwind, we’re excited to host Lindsey from Vibrant Coaching, a local life coach, stress-illness and chronic-pain recovery specialist, and Yoga Nidra practitioner. Her Vibrant Calm workshop will take place on 8th January, 18:00–19:30. Lindsey will share practical, grounding tools that supported her own recovery — ideal for parents, carers, busy professionals or anyone feeling the post-Christmas dip.
Our much-loved Stitch and Share sessions will return monthly from 4th January. Whether you knit, crochet, or are keen to learn something new, these friendly sessions are a wonderful way to connect and create. To secure your place, please email enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk.
A huge thank you also goes to Kimmie D, who is generously giving up her time on 25th January to host an energetic Zumba Fundraiser in support of the Beaulieu Community Centre. Her energy, positivity and passion are truly inspiring, and we are so grateful for her continued support. All proceeds will help us to keep offering free and accessible events for everyone in the community. Spaces always fill quickly, so email enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk to book.
We are also thrilled to welcome a variety of new regular hirers to the centre, adding even more choice to our already bustling timetable. From creative workshops to fitness classes and family-friendly sessions, there’s something for everyone. Visit www.beaulieucommunitycentre.co.uk to discover what’s on.
As the year draws to a close, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our supporters, visitors and hirers. Your positivity and encouragement help us continue to grow, adapt and serve our wonderful community.
Wishing you all a safe, joyful and peaceful festive season — and we look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year!
