We were blown away by the amazing artwork that was handed in for the Autumn Art Competition. Revd. Dan Pierce was tasked with choosing the winners of each category and had a difficult time making a decision. Well done to Vaibhavi Darbar, Maisie Moore and Emily Wilby. They each received a £10 Hobby Craft voucher and their gorgeous artwork is now proudly decorating our halls. Thank you to everyone who entered.
I would also like to say a very big thank you to Springfield Youth Club for their very generous donation towards purchasing more sensory toys for the foyer area. All of these sensory toys are being very much appreciated by our little guests at the centre. It is wonderful to see them engaging in the different activity boards, learning whilst doing so. Their donation has helped us move that one step closer to making our foyer area more welcoming.
As the end of the year draws closer, we have been busy behind the scenes, planning some exciting new events for 2025. We can promise that there will be something for everyone, young and old, so keep an eye on our Facebook page to ensure you don’t miss out. In order to run these events, we need our local communities’ support. Whether it be volunteering your time, expertise or donating various products. Your support is always greatly appreciated. If you feel that you could help us, please email enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk
They don’t call this time of year the ‘Crazy Season’ for no reason. School Christmas shows, work get togethers, wrapping up final Christmas shopping and arrangements, finalising work schedules or deadlines. It seems never ending. We all ask ourselves, why do we do this? But we do it again and again each year. This year, slow it down. Take time to breathe, don’t pressurise yourselves to fit in with everyone else. The cost of living has increased enormously, so stick to your budget and remind yourself of what is really important. Sometimes it is ok to say NO!
