As we settle into the New Year, we hope that 2026 has started kindly for you and that your New Year’s resolutions, big or small, are not proving too difficult to stick to. May this be a year where we take time to reflect on what may no longer be working in our lives, and where we feel empowered to make even the smallest of changes. Sometimes it’s those small shifts that allow us to move forward with greater peace, harmony, passion, and even a sense of adventure—whatever it is that helps each of us find self-satisfaction and a healthy work-life balance.
January has been a wonderful way to begin the year here at Beaulieu Community Centre, filled with connection, learning, and generosity.
We kicked things off with aVibrant Calmsession, kindly hosted by Lindsey from Vibrant Coaching. This relaxing and insightful session was a lovely opportunity for attendees to pause, reflect, and reset as they stepped into the year ahead.
Our coffee mornings, hosted with The Wilderness Foundation and Andy’s Man Club, were very well received. We are incredibly grateful to both organisations for coming along to the centre to share what they do and for helping us strengthen connections within our community.
We were also delighted to support Barnardo’s, who held a free children’s clothing pop-up shop in one of our halls for children up to the age of 16. What a wonderful initiative. At what can be a particularly challenging time of year for many families, we were grateful to be able to provide the space for something so meaningful and supportive.
A huge thank you goes to Kimmie D for hosting a Zumba Fundraiser in aid of the centre. We are so grateful for your support and for giving up your time. We had an absolutely fabulous time. Your energy truly astounds us!
Upcoming Events
We’re looking forward to a number of exciting events taking place over the coming weeks:
Holiday Workshop with The Wilderness Foundation This workshop will take place on 17th February, 14:00–17:00.
Children will enjoy a wonderful nature and ecosystem-focused session, exploring natural wonders and learning through discovery. An adult must accompany each child. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.
Vibrant Calm – Self Love & Compassion If you enjoyed the previous Vibrant Calm session with Lindsey, we’re pleased to share that she will be returning on 26th February, this time focusing on self-love and compassion. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Community Services & Opportunities
We would like to remind residents that Hearing Help Essex runs monthly NHS hearing aid maintenance sessions at our centre. To book a free appointment, please contact them directly at info@hearinghelpessex.org.uk.
We are also incredibly grateful to have received a grant from Springfield United Charities in support of a new project the team has been working hard on behind the scenes. We’re aiming to launch this exciting initiative towards the beginning or middle of March.
With this in mind, we are currently looking for volunteers who love to cook and are passionate about serving the community. If you feel this is something you could support, even just one day a week, please email us at enquiries@beaulieuhub.uk to register your interest. A member of the team will be in touch closer to March with further details.
What’s On at the Centre

We’re also excited to be offering even more regular activities at the centre, including:

Last, but certainly not least, as a registered charity we continue to strive to support our local residents while providing a modern, friendly hub at the heart of the community. We’re hopeful to complete some minor interior upgrades to our halls in the coming months and will keep you updated on our progress.
Thank you to everyone who supports us, whether by attending events, volunteering your time, or donating to our causes. We truly appreciate you.
