The sunshine is upon us, bringing with it smiles, laughter, and that unmistakable holiday spirit! As everyone begins to wind down and prepare for a well-deserved summer break, we hope this season offers time to relax, recharge, and reconnect with loved ones. We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our residents a safe, joyful, and restful summer.
A special thank you goes to Essex Painting and Decorating Services Ltd for their generous donation of paint, allowing us to give the Centre a fresh new look over the summer months. We’re incredibly grateful for your support in helping us maintain a vibrant, welcoming space for the community.
Community Events & Highlights
Our very first Knit and Crochet Workshop was a huge success! It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to learn new skills, share stories, and form new friendships. A heartfelt thank you to our talented and dedicated volunteers, Narmi Chanthru and Kathryn, for sharing your time and creativity with us. A big shoutout as well to Carla from @WrittleWool for her beautiful display of items for sale and her invaluable help on the day.
This event captured the spirit of what Beaulieu Community Centre is all about—bringing people together in a warm, supportive environment.
Our Tuesday Morning Coffee Mornings have also become a much-loved feature of our weekly calendar. Join us for the next one on Tuesday 5th August, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. It’s a great way to meet others and enjoy a relaxed morning together.
Following that, we’re excited to host “Get School Ready”, a helpful and informative session run by local education professionals. They’ll be sharing valuable advice and practical tips to help parents and children make a smooth transition into the new school year. Book your place via our Eventbrite page: CGCTrust Events.
